Hi John,

Any idea on this error:

---------------------------------
Target core areas for core area #30 = [ 2 13 22 23]

---------------------------------
***Problem encountered executing statement:
"outCostDist = arcpy.sa.CostDistance(SRCRASTER, bResistance, cfg.TMAXCWDIST, back_rast);outCostDist.save(outDistanceRaster)"
The following ArcGIS error is being reported on line line 519 of "C:\circuitscape\linkage_mapper_3_1_0\toolbox\scripts\s3_calcCwds.py":
ERROR 010658: Failure in distributed raster analytics operation.
Failed to execute (CostDistance).

********************************************************
NOTE: Linkage Mapper tools often work best when run  from ArcCatalog instead of ArcMap.

That was try #2 of 20 for this core area.
Restarting iteration in 20 seconds.
---------------------------------

Best wishes,

Melanie

Hi Melanie,

If I got this error the first thing I would do is overlay the resistance surface as one color (e.g. green or greens) over the cores as another color (e.g. red).  Then look at the general location of core 30 to make sure there are no null values in the resistance surface over the core area.  This would show up as (e.g. red).  Then look at cores  2, 13, 22 and 23.  If that is not the problem pls send the entire log file.

Thanks,

John

Hi John,

I've checked them all and the points are all covered by the raster, i.e. not on null values.

I've attached the log.

Thankyou,

Melanie

Hi Melanie,

That is odd.  Maybe send me the cores and resistance layers and I can take a closer look and/or give it a spin.

Thanks,

John

Hi John,

I've re-run the task after deleting the project folder and restarted the computer. Seems to have worked. Not sure why it did that though.

That is great Melanie, and thanks for the report out.  I've added that to the "living" troubleshooting doc. Thanks! John
