Hi all, I'm using ArcGIS Pro 3.0.1 corresponding to the Build Network and Map Linkages, and I've found that it works fine using a coarse-grained resistance surface. However, after replacing it with a high-precision resistance surface, it reports an error.

Python error on **line 266** of s2_buildNetwork.py in Linkage Mapper Version 3.1.0:
ValueError: could not broadcast input array from shape (0,) into shape (1,3)

The specific log is as follows.

Thanks to the experts who can come and answer :P

Hello Li Huang,

12 million cells and 84 cores should be no problem with your system configuration.

Its crashing at the beginning of the process when it is gathering information about the inputs and putting them to work.

It looks to me like it is not liking the core file, and specifically, how it is interacting with your new high resolution roster.

Are you sure you haven’t changed the cores also? If so, I think something went wrong there. Check the attribute file, workflow, intermediate files, etc.

If you have not changed them, then it probably has something to do with some of the cores on the very edge of the region are now overlapping some <null> space where there used to be value. There shold be no Null values within cores if I rememebr correctly.

That is my first guess. If so, you can fix that and retry, probably by adjusting the outer boundary of that core(s).

Looking forward to your response, feel free to reply to me directly.

John
