Hi,

I am trying to run Linkage Mapper for a section of habitat network with a lot of core area patches (154), and a fine-grained raster (3 meters) over a small area (about 15km).
I have tried Linkage Mapper with a small selection of my patches (about 5), and it seems to work fine (albeit rather slowly!): it runs all the way through I get the expected output.

But when I try to run it in exactly the same way for the whole core area layer, or for a larger selection (about 100 patches), then I get the following error message, right at the very start with nothing before it:

Completed script MapLinkages...
Failed to execute (MapLinkages).
Failed at Mon Aug 29 00:04:21 2016 (Elapsed Time: 0.96 seconds)

The raster does not extend very far beyond the edge of the outermost patches - might that be a problem?  Selections of 3 patches near the edge seem to start OK though.
I am using bounding circles and maximum path lengths as advised.

Can you think of any possible solutions or explanations?
Cheers,
Emma

Hi Emma,

If you can send me your data, including your log file, I can replicate the problem here. Just send directly to mc...@circuitscape.org.

Before doing that, make sure you've tried rebooting and re-trying with a new project directory to make sure there isn't some effect of prior runs.

Best,
Brad
