Hi all!
I read in the article "Identifying Corridors among Large Protected Areas in the United States" that :

"In Linkage Mapper, least cost corridor values are produced by summing CWD away from two cores, say core A and core B. The CWDAB sum is then normalized by LCP values between cores A and B (LCPAB) to produce normalized least cost corridor (NLCCAB) values (i.e., NLCCAB = CWDA + CWDB−LCPAB) so that grid cells along the LCP equals 0. NLCCs for all corridors are then mosaicked together to produce a network of corridors representing cost distance (lower values have better potential to serve as a corridor)."

But when I tried to find the NLCC file, I found that there was no file named this way. I would like to know if this file is a raster named "lm_cwd" or a raster named "lm_corridors"

Help is greatly appreciated!
All the best!

Hello Jie,

The NLCC files are in the NLC folder.  That is in the NLCC folder in the datapass folder in your results folder.  It is possible that you have a setting turned on that deletes the temporary files of the analysis to save disk space.  If you do not see that folder or files and cannot figure out how to stop that deleting of intermediate files pls let me know.

Cheers!

John

Dear John, thank you very much for your answer.

I found the NLC folder in the datapass folder , which is the NLCC grid of each corridor. But what I need is the final mosaicked raster. Therefore, I re-read the User Guide and found some sentences like this:
normalized and mosaicked least-cost corridors (lm_corridors in corridors.gdb) produced by the settings above.
Normalized and mosaicked least cost corridors using the tutorial data (saved in corridors.gdb)
Therefore, I guess that the raster I need, which can represent the NLCC value of each pixel in the study area is the  raster named corridors in corridors.gdb (that is, the output result without clipping the corridor cutoff width)
Is this guess correct?

Thank you so much!
All the best!

Hello Jie,

Yes, you are correct, the corridors.gdb/[projectname]_corridors file is the normalized least cost corridors mosaic.

Nice work and good luck!
