Dear Members,
I'm not sure if I'm seeking help in the right place for errors encountered while running Circuitscape 4.0 on Windows.
I am currently working under a tight deadline, and the reviewer has suggested running Isolation by Resistance (IBR), which, while not directly aligned with our main objective, seems essential to progress with the paper due to graduation pressures.
For the resistance analysis, I have created resistance rasters in ArcMap based on expert knowledge. Additionally, I developed a focal node file using Circuitscape's ArcGIS tool (Beta version), selecting 100 unique GPS points (longitude only). These points were then assigned to the same raster used for the analysis.
I proceeded by opening Circuitscape, inputting the necessary data for a pairwise analysis. My goal is to obtain pairwise resistance values, which I will later compare with genetic data to assess isolation within the species.
However, during the run, I encountered a warning for most of the calculations. Below is the message I received:
Solving focal pair 7 of 465
Solver failed for at least one focal node pair.
Pairs with failed solves will be marked with a value of -777
in the output resistance matrix.
