Hello Xinyu,

Looks to me like you need to run the Linkage Pathways Tool (Build Network and Map Linkages).  This neds to be run first  before running pinchpoint mapper.  And use the same directory and input files.

If that does not work please reply to me directly and off list.

Thanks,

John

Hello Xinyu,

I think that if you go through the tutorials for Linkage Pathways tool with the sample data and then the tutorial for the Pinchpoint Mapper tool this will answer your questions.  They are at the end of each user guide.

If questions still linger please contact me off list at john....@linkagemapper.org rather than replying to this email.

Thank you,

John

Hi John,

Thank you for your help!

I have  run the  Tools (Build Network and Map Linkages) and (Pinchpoint Mapper) successfully.  Here is the result drawing.

However, I still encountered some problems when using Clip Corridors to Cutoff Width tool, I want to clip corridors from 20K to 5km cost-weighted ‘width’, but the output result seems no different from the input data.
For the result of  Pinchpoint Mapper, the CWD cutoff result is also no different from the input.
How to remove the background and  make the CWD cutoff  correctly?
Is it because my data is not appropriate? I am so confused.

Figures 1 and 2 are my results (with problems),Figures 3 and 4 are the results I want to achieve.

This is my first study on biological connectivity protection and my first time using this tool, so it is inevitable that there are some things I do not understand.
I am sorry for the frequent interruptions.

Looking forward to your reply and thank you again!
