Hello everyone!
I’m trying to run linkage mapper, but I keep getting the same error. I’ve already tried using short paths, changing the working directories, and testing both TIFF and GRID formats, but nothing works.

Starting at step 1.

Making temporary copy of resistance raster for this run.

Making temporary raster of core file for this run.

---------------------------------
Running script s1_getAdjacencies.py
Adjacency files will be written to C:\Aa\datapass\adj

Calculating cost-weighted distance adjacency
Starting cost-weighted distance allocation...
Processing cell size: 0.0083333333
-------------------------------------------------
Failed to execute costAllocOut = CostAllocation(cfg.CORERAS, bResistance, cfg.TMAXCWDIST, cfg.CORERAS,"VALUE", outDistanceRaster);costAllocOut.save(alloc_ras) on try #1.

The following error is being reported at line 187 of "C:\Linkage_Mapper_2_0_0\toolbox\scripts\s1_getAdjacencies.py":
RuntimeError: ERROR 010240: Could not save raster dataset to C:\Aa\datapass\adj\CWD_alloc_ras with output format GRID.

What can I do to make the models run?

Thank you very much!

Hello Ana,

It looks like you are using v 2.0.0 even though you may have v 3.1.0 on your machine.  For starters, please use v 3.1.0 .  You can get it at lnkagemapper.org if you do not already have it.

And in the future, please find the log file and send that as an attachment when troubleshooting.

Thanks,

John

Hi Ana,

Try projecting your resistance surface into a standard projection that uses meters as the minimum mapping unit rather than degrees.

Also, make sure that all core areas completely contain at least one raster cell.

Thanks,

John

Hello Ana,

You are welcome and thank you for the report back. I'm glad it worked!

Which of the two fixes worked, or did you employ both at once and not sure which one worked?

Any details for people reading this thread in the future would be appreciated, but obviously not necessary.  Enjoy Linkage Mapper and thank you for contributing to habitat connectivity conservation!

Thank you,

John

Sorry, I employed both fixes at once and not sure which one worked. But it did it
