"Linkages found" is the number of linkages that have been internally found (numbers more than 2147483647 are reported as 2147483647).

You can actually generate (as program output) up to this number (as specified using the "-c" flag).

(You may encounter memory and CPU constraints if you try to generate a very big number of linkages.)
