Galaxy A33 5G sports quad rear camera with 48MP main lens with OIS, powerful 5nm Exynos 1280 processor, and 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display that supports 90Hz refresh rate and stereo speakers for surround sound experience. It also has IP67 rating for spill, splash and dust resistance. It comes with large 5000mAh battery and promises up to 3 years of software upgrades and 4 years of security updates.

Since this review was originally published, Samsung has issued a range of software updates to the Galaxy A70. These include the standard stability fixes, as well as new camera features like Super Steady stabilization for video, a new night mode feature as well as the ability to recognize QR codes. The phone has received the March 2020 security patch with the latest update.

There are a lot of exciting models to choose from in Samsung's Galaxy A portfolio. For my money, I would go with the Galaxy A53 5G. It has a sublime 120Hz AMOLED screen, powerful hardware with 5G connectivity, microSD slot, standout cameras, and large 500mAh battery with 25W fast charging. You also get IP67 dust and water resistance, monthly updates, and four guaranteed Android version updates.

The Galaxy A54 5G has a triple-camera setup on the back, with a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide shooter, and a 5MP macro unit. In the front, it features a 13MP selfie camera. The phone runs Android 13-based One UI 5.1 on top, with up to four generations of OS upgrades and five years of security updates guaranteed by Samsung. It has an in-display fingerprint reader and has IP67 rated for dust and water resistance.
