what's the relation between linice and pice

are really the same.

Hi,

It is a quite interesting history: Peter started his project (Private
ICE) independently of mine (Linice) and we sort of meet each other on
the web initially. We exchanged some code (you will see pIce has
Linice's disassembler), but then each of us went on our own side being
really busy at work and in private life.
Sometimes later I continued working on Linice and lost touch with
Peter; I dont think he is maintaining pIce any more. While my concept
of Linice is to provide 100% user familiarity with MS SoftIce, Peter's
goal was more to provide a usable kernel debugger.
