CALL FOR BUCLD FELLOWSHIP APPLICATIONS:
The BUCLD Diversity Travel Fellowship is funded by a grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for the purpose of promoting diversity in science. The award is meant to assist students who are interested in attending the BU Conference on Language Development (BUCLD, the premier annual international conference on language development organized by students), by offsetting some of their expenses with a stipend of up to $600. For this year’s virtual conference, applicants are encouraged to list all costs associated with attending a virtual conference, which may include (but are not limited to): internet services, child/elder care, temporary lodging, accessibility software, etc.
Students need not be authors on abstracts to apply. Preference is given to applicants with the greatest need, those who have not previously received a travel award, and underrepresented minorities.
The application for the 2021 Diversity Travel Fellowship is now available at: bit.ly/bucld-diversity
The deadline to submit an application for the Diversity Travel Fellowship is 11:59 PM EDT (UTC -4), October 1st, 2021.
