Assistant-e en Linguistique Informatique
The University of Geneva, Department of Linguistics, unit for Computational Linguistics, invites applications for a doctoral teaching assistant position in computational linguistics.

Conditions: Applicants should have completed a Master's degree in computational linguistics or equivalent (computer science, linguistics). The ideal applicant has a good competence in core topics in computer science (programming, algorithms, artificial intelligence), and a demonstrated interest in the linguistic aspects of the discipline.
Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to teach practicals in computer science and computational linguistics for a total of two hours a week at the bachelor's and master's level and be expected to participate in the research of the unit (clcl.unige.ch). The successful candidate will be integrated in a large network of excellence, centered on the project ‘NCCR Evolving Language’ (www.evolvinglanguage.ch).
The appointment is for a total fixed term of 5 years, renewable under conditions every two-years, with an expected starting date of 1st of February, 2021.
Annual salary starts from CHF 46’247 to reach 78’528 CHF with annual increases.
