Dr Gail Coelho visiting TU on 19th June

Dr Gail Coelho, Associate Professor, Department of Linguistics, Delhi University will be in our University tomorrow. As we will be having our PhD interview in the department tomorrow, I could not formally arrange an interactive session for you with her. However, if possible, after interviews and your office hours (say around 5pm?), you can meet her in my office. Let me know if you are interested for the same.

She was a Post Doctoral Fellow of the prestigious School of Oriental and African Studies, London and of Rice University, USA. Her grammar of Betta Kurumba (I think u remember this language from our class on Feeding relation in Phonology!) is well-received. She specializes in Field Methods in Language Description, Principles in Linguistics Analysis, Issues in Language Documentation, Historical Linguistics, Morphology and Phonology.
