Wish everybody be good! I have a problem when I write my paper these days. I need the origin and exact definition of the term "The Aesthetics of Cultural Transfer". But, I found this term only in one paper, whose title is The Aesthetics of Cultural Transfer in Langston Hughes’s Translations of Works by Federico García Lorca, Nicolás Guillén, and Jacques Roumain. I found this term on the internet, but nothing turned up. Also, I looked it up in the library, I returned empty-handed. I doubt whether the term 'The Aesthetics of Cultural Transfer' exists and should be translated into Chinese as "文化迁移美学". Here I need your help, please give me some clues if you know something about it. thank you ! Happy Teachers' Day!

Michael Writing:

The term is used here:

Toward a Topography of

Cross-Cultural Theatre Praxis

Jacqueline Lo and Helen Gilbert

I used a very simple Google search and found it around the third page or so.  It is being used, in so far as I could determine, as a contrast to other types [if you prefer typoologies] of studies of cultural transfer.

Best regards,

Michael

Thanks very much, but I need the definition of the whole term "aesthetics of cultrure transfer" which relates to aesthetics, but not topography. Evatually, I can determine it by myself, but it sounds bad when I ,as a stranger and fresh man on academic, use my own term to describe aesthetic of culture transfer when literature translation takes place. Exactly, I need a definition of this term from an authority to surpport my view in my paper. Thank you for your help, Michael Ryan.
