Hello all,

I came across an article recently in the journal _Visual
Communication_ by Jerome Krase & Timothy Shortell, practitioners of
"visual urban sociology" from Brooklyn College, City University of New
York, after discovering their online archive of over 9000 photos from
40 cities: http://www.brooklynsoc.org/blog/gallery2/main.php

Their tumblr blog may also be of interest: http://brooklynsoc.tumblr.com/

This prompted me to search through recent issues of VC; I thought the
articles below might be of use too.

Best,

Dave
