What are your interests? What are you working on?

I guess it's good to get to know each other a little bit, so that it's clear what kind of audience we have here. Hence the question: what are you interested in/what are you working on?

I am soon starting my PhD project, which is part of a bigger project on the "understanding of language by machines." My project could be classified as distributional semantics, studying concepts from a computational perspective. I am also interested in pragmatics (and scalar implicatures in particular) and degree semantics.

primarily I guess my main interest in semantics right now is presuppositions. who coulda guessed, right? but I'm also writing a paper on ordinal adjectives (eg first/second/third/...) which looks like it'll be the first paper devoted to them ever. they have a lot of really interesting properties. I also have something of an interest in bizarre/atypical semantics just for novelty's sake.
