Is any processing happening non-locally? Safe to process confidential texts?

Specifically, when using the Windows/Mac versions of ARTE, TAASCC, SEANCE, or TAALES, do the texts of files that are processed ever leave one's own computer? I'm thinking of texts that are confidential, but for which one still wants to know the language properties: would it be 'safe' to process these texts using SALAT applications?

Thanks to anyone who can answer this for me!

Hi Mike,

The text files never leave your computer - they are secure. This is an advantage of using these tools over web-based tools.

Best,

Kris
