Migrating data to Redshift from HDFS--is it similar to S3 copy command?

Hello,

When we are migrating the data from HDFS to Redshift, then will it be similar to S3 copy command or is it going to publish the whole table?

The Tap will issue a SQL query for Redshift's COPY command. You can see the documentation of all the nuances of that SQL query here http://docs.aws.amazon.com/redshift/latest/dg/r_COPY.html and compare it to whatever other tools you use for copying data to S3.
