promotors

Hi guys,


I am a propective doctoral student working on Kikuyu, a bantu
language. To qualify for a scholarship to Germany I am required to
have a promotor from a Germany. Do you know of any one who can
supervise a student working on issues like
coordination,subordination ,cosubordination,focus, reference tracking
in sentences? My theoretical framework is Role Reference Grammar (RRG).

Hey there Claudius,

I think that Dr. Joachim Sabel might be interested in Kikuyu. He's a typologist in Frankfurt (I believe - I don't actually speak German, so I may be wrong) who has done stuff on wh-movement and the like. His web page is here: http://web.uni-frankfurt.de/fb10/sabel/.
