Nacon and developer StillAlive Studios have released a new trailer for Garden Life: A Cozy Simulator, as we get a better look at the gameplay. The trailer gives you the basics as you'll have your own setup of drawers, seeds, and other items to use to clean up the garden, plant items, bring it to life, and cultivate it to become whatever you wish. Enjoy the trailer below, as the game is still set to be released on February 22, 2024.
We've had a couple of really popular simulators lately based on what can only be described as common household chores. This includes Lawn Mowing Simulator from 2021 and last year's PowerWash Simulator.
Garden Simulator is another prime example of this and it was also released in 2022, but only for PC, which means many people never got a chance to try it out. It has very positive user reviews on Steam (we haven't had the opportunity to play it yet), and now it has been released for the consoles as well, so more gamers can join the fun of digital gardening.
NACON and stillalive studios exclusively unveiled a new trailer for Garden Life at the OTK Game Awards 2023. This game provides a warm and relaxing atmosphere where players can express their creativity, nurture a garden through the changing seasons, and fulfill neighbors' requests for rewards and unlocking new tools, seeds and decorations.
Playing in a charming world awaits you, allowing you to discover the joys of gardening from the comfort of your own home, whether you are an experienced gardener or a complete beginner. Plus, you can progress at your own pace through the enjoyable game world via story mode.
As you play, you'll meet a cast of colorful characters, many of whom will have requests for you to complete. Doing so will earn you currency that can be spent on unlocking new garden areas, buying new tools, and more.
Garden Life is arguably part of an ongoing boom in cozy games, with titles like Aussie farming sim Dinkum, Stone Age title Roots of Pacha, and cutesy business sim Sticky Business being among the many titles vying for players' attention.
Arguably, Garden Life will occupy a somewhat unique niche within that sub-genre, though; there aren't too many gardening simulators around, although many cozy games do allow you to dabble in some green-thumbed activities here and there.
Garden Life: A Cozy Simulator will be released for PC via Steam, as well as PlayStation consoles and Xbox platforms, on February 22nd. A Switch version will follow on March 14th, and digital pre-orders are open for all versions now.
Railfan1 wrote:There's a simulator down here too. It has a control panel from an SD40-2. The "video" is from a Conrail locomotive and lasts 2-3 minutes with the same scenerio and same ending everytime (you can't stop the train fast enough before hitting the car). The UP simulator sounds better.
I suspect that you are referring to the Georgia Operation Lifesaver Mobile Unit...It was originally a CONRAIL unit used by them, until about 2000 when it was aquired by a local Atlanta area railroad equipment company, who had blind purchased it in a auction lot of CONRAIL equipment...They did not know what it was til it arrived there in Georgia!
The company then allowed it to be used by the local OLI group, as a display for publicity in appropriate area events. Back then, one of the Roadway Express Safety Managers/ and Georgia motor Transport Assn. representatives who drove the truck to OLI events, and stored it for OLI when it was not being used. The company I was with, on ocasion ran it thru our truck wash and provided some other services for OLI's unit.
There is a mock up locomotive cab, and video presentation area in the front of the trailer, which allows participants to watch/operate the locomotive in various scenarios. If you get a chance to see it, it is a very interesting and informative display.
Georgia is very fortunate to have such an active and diverse group of participants in their Operation Lifesaver program. Your state director has done a marvelous job of melding a group from all areas of surface transportation and its local law enforcement community. At one time, and I hope still, the trucking industry was well represented and cooperative with Georgia OLI through the Georgia Motor Trucking Assn.

Robin, the previous caretaker of the community garden, has unfortunately passed away, leaving the garden unattended. The community has been looking for someone else to take their place, and so you arrive to try and fill their shoes. You must uphold the beauty and structure of the fauna Robin has constructed, as their ghost continues to roam and wishes for you to continue the list of tasks they had left behind.
The Reveal trailer shows off more of the gameplay, where you plant seeds, fill up your watering can, and water plants. Garden decoration was also shown, placing rocks and other various decorations can be put down.
Once you have started to get the trailer turning and then you try to correct the movement that is usually when things start to go pear shaped. Even with a helper, if they are not experienced at reversing a trailer either, it can still be quite a job.
After running through the simulator dozens of times until I understood how the steering was effecting the trailer direction, I was able to reverse my trailer much more easily. Spending some time on the simulator coupled with the tips from the video links seems to have really improved my trailer reversing skills. I have had the trailer out a couple of times in the last few days and now I am able to reverse it quite easily. Now I am no longer embarrassed to have someone watch me while I reverse the trailer!
