That's quite a change, isn't it? I used to say this about fountain pens too, something along the lines of "I don't get it." Well, I'm starting to get it more and more, and I don't like being without a pencil. I may not use one every day - if fact I don't - but the comfort knowing the sweet smell of cedar is just an arms reach away is comforting.
I'm still in the discovery phase in my pencil addiction. What I have found so far is that I like good point retention and a medium/dark line. I also like nice paint jobs and dipped ends (no erasers) but those things are far down the list compared to the first two items.
For example, my two favorite pencils right now are the Tombow Mono 100 HB and the Palomino Blackwing 602. The Mono taught me that 1. Pencils can be beautiful, and 2. Point retention is a thing. I could write and write and see only moderate wear in the graphite. Certainly much less than some random #2 pencil from my school days. The Blackwing 602 taught me about smoothness and depth of color. It really leaves an amazing line on the page and is a pleasure to write with.
Taking what I like about those two pencils, I wanted to start climbing up the H side of the hardness scale to find the best point retention in combination with the darkest graphite. The Tombow 2558 H seemed like a nice place to start considering how much I like the Mono 100.
The 2558 is likely the most normal Tombow pencil going. It has that traditional yellow pencil paint job, standard size and shape ferrule, and a pink eraser. Put it in a pile with a bunch of first graders pencils and you may not be able to pick it out easily (although the ferrule has a sweet purple tint.) The looks of the pencil were a bit of a turnoff at first. Why buy something normal looking when their are so many better (for me) choices?
Fortunately, the graphite delivered what I was looking for in performance. It sharpened up well and the point held nicely through several writing sessions. Once you cross the HB middle line, the harder graphite cores are naturally lighter, and although this H is light, it is dark enough for me and how I like to write. I think I could go one to two grades harder in fact, although they are not available in this model.
While I'm not normally an eraser guy, the 2558 eraser is very nice. Probably the best I have used, although my sample size is admittedly small. It doesn't take much action to remove the graphite from the page, and the eraser bits roll up nicely for easy sweeping away.
The Tombow 2558 isn't going to knock off my favorite pencils any time soon, but every time I try something new (like this pencil), I learn more and more what my preferences are. Luckily for me, there are many more pencils to be tried.
The 2558 is an 8-channel analog input module designed to be compatible with the 2500 Series I/O base. The 2558 translates analog input signals into equivalent digital words. It is fully compatible with all versions of the Siemens 545 and 555 PLCs.
I have the appropriate Tektronix plugin installed and when I use the Open Data Storage Express vi to create new *.WFM file I get error -2558 indicating My system does not have the software installed to support the file type. I am using version 2015 SP1. Anyone else seeing this issue? What am I mising here?
I cannot find an easy or direct way to do this. There may be a way to convert a file that is saved in a different format if you can find (or create) a file converter. What is your end goal for writing a .WFM file? Will this be used by a device that only recognizes .WFM files?
I am opening multiple .wfm files to analyze them for MIN/MAX values. I want to save the new data (multiple waveforms) to a file for review later by piers. I will save it as a TDMS file that can contain multiple waveform channels. I wont be trying to use .WFM for that now that i see that the plug-in does not support that. thanks for your help.
My Ipad 2 and my Ipod Touch 4G have been pretty weird ever since I got them, their time and date is WAY before this time period, it says 2558 BE. Seriously, my parents don't want to get it fixed, because they say that if it is fully functional, then it's fine. I don't think so, I can't do glitches in games, I can't do pranks, and I can't do things I want to do, please help me. I really want to get this fixed.

You can have some of your retired pay go to another institution through an allotment (often known as a payroll deduction). This allows you to pay bills, insurance premiums, mortgages, etc. directly out of your retired pay.
Before setting up an allotment, please make sure you have enough disposable pay after taxes and other deductions to cover it. If you don't, you may not receive your pay or your allotment might be underpaid.
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) allotments to financial institutions can be started, stopped, or changed in myPay.
Non Electronic Funds Transfer allotments for your mortgage payments can be changed or stopped in myPay. Certain insurance and certain charitable contributions can also be stopped or changed in myPay. To start a Home Loan, Navy Mutual Aid Service, Charity, or Insurance allotment please see the charity or institution where you desire to start an allotment for more information on how to complete this action.
To Start, Change, or Stop an allotment using myPay:
Once you have entered an allotment into myPay, please allow time for the transaction to post. Entering the allotment more than once could cause the system to set up two allotments instead of one, causing overpayments to your allotments.
You can also start, stop or change an EFT allotment using the DD 2558 Form, available on our Forms webpage.
Retired & Annuitant Pay created a new option for submitting requests to start, stop or change allotments using the DD Form 2558. To make an allotment request, please complete and sign the DD Form 2558, Authorization to Start, Stop, or Change an Allotment. You can submit the form via our askDFAS online upload tool on DFAS.mil and you will also receive status notifications as the form moves through the processing cycle.

The 2558A is a cost-effective, high-precision instrument capable of outputting a wide range of AC voltages and currents for the calibration of AC measurement devices such as analog wattmeters, power meters, clamp-on testers, and current transformers. Intuitive front panel controls and various computer interfaces enable the 2558A to be operated manually or become integrated into an larger system.
Calibrating two or more points is quick and simple. It is only necessary to preselect the number of required calibration points with the lower divider control and then use the upper control to step the output to the next calibration point. The deviation settings will then enable the output value and error of each calibration point to be displayed directly.
This means that it is possible to finely approach the target calibration point, either from a lower value or a higher one, without exceeding it. This is particularly useful when the friction (hysteresis) of the moving part needs to be taken into consideration. In this case, the point is calibrated twice, once from a lower value and once more from a higher value and the final calibration result is the average of the two.
One of the 2558As acts as the master unit and provides the synchronizing oscillator signal. The required power factors is set by adjusting the phase shifter on the slave unit and monitoring the result on the WT3000. A 3 phase power calibrator system can be simply built by adding further 2558As.
On 19 Feb 2015, the Ministry of Industry in Thailand published its new regulation B.E. 2558 on the notification of the production and import of hazardous substances in Government gazette. The regulation comes into force immediately on the same day.
The main purpose of this regulation is to build a national inventory of hazardous chemicals in Thailand and grasp their hazard properties. Manufacturers and importers of hazardous substances exceeding 1 ton per year are now required to notify their hazardous substances to the Department of Industrial Works (DIW) via DIW's online system. The notification shall be submitted within 60 days from the date of manufacture or importation (only once). This notification is also called Thailand Hazardous Substances Notification.
