I've had the MF240 Laser Printer for years and love it. Had a system die on me though and had to rebuild it from scratch. Now I can't find the drivers and PC (Windows 10) Software to install.
Can anyone tell me where to go? (be nice.... )

You can download the drivers for the MF247 using the link HERE. The drivers will work with most printers that are part of the 240 series. If the drivers do not work for you, please reply to this message with the specific model of your 240 series printer and we can further assist.
Thanks Hector. My bad.... I actually found a set of drivers someplace that are working and I forgot to update this thread, apologies. I will check out your link and in all probability download from there and store 'em on my external storage drive. THANKS, much appreciated!

- With Internet Explorer 11, a web site containing Japanese may not be printed properly. In Windows Update, update the OS and Internet Explorer to the latest version.
- If the printer driver is installed in Windows 8, and if Windows 8 is upgraded to Windows 8.1 while keeping the printer driver installed, Enable bidirectional support in the printer properties may be deselected, disabling detection of the ink level, etc. Re-install the printer driver after upgrading to Windows 8.1 and Enable bidirectional support is selected.
- If the scanner driver is installed in Windows 8, and if Windows 8 is upgraded to Windows 8.1 while keeping the scanner driver installed, scanning from the product (by using the SCAN button) may not be available. Re-install the scanner driver after upgrading to Windows 8.1.
- While scanning, the computer goes into the sleep status if OS setting is set to do so. Scanning stops in the Sleep status.

To scan the data with high resolution and large capacity, specify the enough time to complete the scanning or disable the setting.
hi everyone, I was trying to print something with my canon printer mf 240. It was working at the beginning, and stopped after printing 2 pages, so I tried to delete & reinstall the printer. Then I realize I have to install a driver, I download it, but my laptop shows "Unable to communicate with the printer at this time." (printer is on & wifi setting is working). Is it the Mojave not support my printer anymore, or I need to install some other drivers, or what? I tried to look up from the community already, but didn't really solve my problems
On another new computer also running Windows 10 I have connected the same printer and installed the drivers from the Canon website (Their description of the drivers being [Windows 64bit] MF249dw/MF247dw/MF244dw MFDrivers (UFR II / PCL / FAX / ScanGear)). But the printing preferences on this computer are far more basic, missing several settings that I use regularly. (Second image below)
After installing the drivers from the Canon website, this was set to "Canon UFR II B/W Class Driver". I changed it to "Canon MF240 Series UFRII LT", and now the detailed preferences window is available.

I have been looking around for what I need to get my printer up and running. My cups interface is working, and it sees the printer. So I am off to a great start.
