Thank you for joining the closed testing group for Linear Raw. Your help is invaluable in ensuring this app is stable and accurate for the photography community before its official launch on the Google Play Store.

What is Linear Raw?
Linear Raw is a specialized utility for Canon photographers. It uses a custom C++ engine (LibRaw) to convert CR3 files into 16-bit Linear DNGs, preserving maximum sensor data and professional metadata (ISO, Lens Model, Serial Numbers, etc.) for your mobile editing workflow.

How to get started:
1. Join this group, ensure you are signed in to the same Google Account that you use for the Play Store.
2. Opt-in Link: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.linear.rawconverter

(Note: You must click the link above and select "Become a Tester" before the Play Store will allow you to download the app.)

What to look for:
While using the app, please keep an eye out for:
• Metadata Accuracy: Does the extracted EXIF data match your camera settings?
• Conversion Stability: Do large batches finish without crashing?
• UI/UX: Does the interface work well on your specific device?
• Performance: How fast is the conversion on your hardware?

How to provide feedback:
If you encounter a bug or have a feature request:

• Group Discussion: Feel free to start a new thread right here in this Google Group.
• Debug Reports: If a conversion fails, you can use the "Copy Debug Report" button in the app and paste it into your report.

A Note on Privacy:
Linear Raw is a privacy-first application. All image processing happens locally on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to a server.
