Short Course on Basics of Measure Theory and Connections to Probability

Hello all,

Thanks for your feedback related to the Measure Theory course by Prof K B Athreya. We received an overwhelming response regarding the interest for the course.

We are glad to inform you that Prof Athreya has confirmed us of his availability for the lectures. The lectures are scheduled everyday from Jan 28 - Feb 1, 2013 ( Monday to Friday ). 

The timings  of the course will be from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM at CSA Lecture Hall ( CSA 117 ). There may be an optional class on Saturday ( Feb 2, 2013). 

We have requested Prof Athreya to  focus on foundations of measure theory and connections to probability during these lectures. Please participate actively in the classes and make the best use of the short course.
