ABS SAVES LIFE & CAR

I was going to a nearby town (Pollachi) from Coimbatore yesterday via
NH 209 road.I was arriving at the Intersection wherein the Bypass road
of NH 47 meets. The signal was Green for me & I was driving at around
45 kms speed, suddenly a Swift Dezire car from Kerala (from the NH47
bypass) appeared like a Ghost right in front of my car just 10 feet
away jumping the Red Signal. I did apply break fully & ABS though
helped by not locking the breaks, I was able to steer the car to
avoided the collision. Thanks to ABS, otherwise my car would have
skidded & rammed into the Swift Dezire front left door which I think
would have rolled over & would have caused considerable damage to the
car and there would have been certain loss of lifes.

I Chased the Dezire caught & stopped him. He refused to open the door
& he was praying with folded hands not to do anything. After my
persistence to open the door he opened & found man of 55 - 60 years
driving the car & accompanied by his wife. He apologised saying that
he was not aware of the signal(inspite of the signal in very good
working condition). I gave him my advise & told him that due to his
age & as he was accompanied by his wife I am not giving any police
complaint. Also I told him that he lucky to be alive as my FIAT LINEA
had ABS Breaking System.

Please buy cars with ABS Breaking system, It saves the lifes of others
& the car.
