Linea Prices have gone up by Rs. 1 Lac in a year !!!

When I purchased my Linea Petrol E Pk, ex-shoroom Thane price was Rs.
6.87 Lacs
Fiats website now shows its price at Rs. 7.87 Lacs !!!
Price increase of Rs. 1 Lac in a year !!!
Feeling lucky that we took the plunge initially.

Yes feeling good that we bought the car initially. Personally for me,
the Linea buying decision was quite impulsive. As per my original plan
I was going to replace my old car only in 2010 without taking any car
finance. However got swept away by the beauty and took the plunge to
replace the car before hand. Now I am feeling relieved that part of
the interest which I am paying for the car loan is recovered as I
would have bought the Linea this year at a much higher price.
I am sure many other Lineans will share a similar sentiment and the
new joinees who have bought the car at a higher price, I'll say it's
still worth it. I would have bought the Linea even at the current
price.

I bought it in December.. Ex showroom for emotion pack 7.35 .. its already 7.6 now!! Plus I got whopping discounts of about 40K at that time.
On road price was 7.65 (mere 30K above the ex-showroom) including insurance

net price to you was Rs. 6.95 L ??

I got my dec 09 made Linea em Pk 1.4 in Jan 10 for 7.27 including
insurance/temp registration on road.
Thanks to my complaint to Linea and their reprimand to Dealer.

I meant 8.35 was then price.. and now its 8.6 (ex showroom price, multijet emotion pack)
Dealer quoted 9.02 lakh on road.. brought him down to 8.65 on road and that included:

> insurance
> dealer basic accessories kit
> extended warranty
> roadside assistance
> Peace of mind

I just happened to check the ANHC V MT price and Linea petrol Emotion
Pk and diesel Emotion pk prices in Bangalore.
ANHC V MT = 11.06 L
Linea 1.4 Emotion pk = 9.10 L
Linea MJD Emotion pk = 10.33 L
Considering that I bought my MJD Emotion pk at 9.56 L, I keep smiling
myself on the saving compared to a petrol ANHC, that too without a ACC
or bluetooth integration, proper tyre, etc.
Linea sales will only go up further in my opinion, because the
curiosity on this car and brand among public is increasing day by day
as we see more Linea on the road.
