Guys,

What are the options for Headlights?

Philips Crustal Vision H1 & H7

Osram NightBrakers

Philips Xtreme Power

Any other?

A little surfing/ reasearch on web shown that Crystal Vision throws
White light & not good for highways. The throw is not long & is too
focussed (narrow range)

I'm looking at brighter performance

Any ideas?

I personally think Night Breakers (Osram) are the best. I checked the
price. Both H1 and H7 will cost about 4k excluding fitment. Since the
dealer was not sure how to go ahead with fitment, I stalled the
project.

I am not sure about full name but I got osram white light bulbs instead of the stock yellow light. Cost me 2000 rs. For two h1 and two h7 and also got two paeking light bulbs free. Installation took 10 mins as they just had to replace the bulbs!

The light is pretty much same brightnesswise.. but I just love the white colord beam! :-)

How is the visibility of white light?

I've understood repeatedly from most of the people who've installed it
that the visibility - 1) on highways, 2) in rain & 3) in fog
conditions is poor & some of them went back to stock yelloe bulbs

In fog the visibility will surely drop! White light is no good in fog.
Not sure about rain ... though i did not find any problem with the lights on highways... but then each individual has different requirements :)

For normal city use, the bulbs are great... and its so easy to change that even you can change back to your stock bulbs (if need be)..

I have upgraded my headlights to Philips Crystal vision 4300K H1 & H7
and it is emitting white light. I notice a big difference with the
stock lamps and this one. This is very bright and the roads are very
clearly visible at night. Please view the below link to see the
pictures of the same.

I had extensilvey studied your posts on Crystal vision on TBHP and
also on ACI.

My only concern is that almost everybody says that its white light
creates issues on - 1)Highways, 2) Rain, & 3) Foggy conditions
