Hello Restart 2026 Guests,
I’m excited to share that the Dance Menu and the list of Dance Guarantees for Restart 2026 are now ready for your review!

👉 Download the Dance Menu Excel sheet at the top of the linked website page. See the green button: https://gerardmurphy.weebly.com/restart-event.html

Please spread the word, as I am having problems with my e-newsletter and want to ensure that all Restart 2026 guests receive this message!

This menu has been built from your requests, along with a selection of popular and classic line dance favourites to keep the floor moving all weekend long. Given the sheer volume of submissions, I’ve done my best to include as many dance wishes as possible. I appreciate that not every wish could be granted - thank you for your understanding, and please forgive any typos!

A Few Important Notes

Think of this as a “menu,” not a fixed playlist.
During open dancing on Friday and Saturday nights, DJ Hayley will select dances in real time, watching the floor and aiming to create a good mix of levels and styles.

What this means for you:
Dances will not be played in the sequence listed
Some dances on the menu may not be played
Other dances not listed on the menu may be played (at the DJ’s or Event Director’s discretion)
Dance names will be announced and projected on screens as they are played

What Do the Green Highlighted Dances Mean?
Dances highlighted in green are either beginner or easy improver level dances.
All other dances listed would generally be considered solid improver level or above.

Please Note
Requests will not be accepted on Friday or Saturday nights - please do not negotiate with the DJ!
Thursday night will be our All-Request Welcome Party, so bring your requests then
More details on how requests will be managed that evening will be shared closer to the event

Be Ready to Jump In!
There will be no one-wall walkthroughs during open dancing.
If you requested a dance, or have practiced in advance, please don’t be shy about taking a helper spot on one of the four walls so others can follow your lead. Raise your hand high and give a wave to signal that others can follow you until their memory kicks in!

The Dance Guarantees
I have identified a selection of nine (9) “Dance Guarantees” that WILL be played at some point on both Friday and Saturday nights.

These include well-known favourites choreographed by Jo, Ivonne, Hayley, and Gerard.

What About Workshop Dances?
In addition to the Dance Menu and Dance Guarantees, a few dances taught each day will also be played in the evening.
The choreographer will lead a quick one-wall reminder
These will not be full reviews or teaches
Not all dances taught during the day will be played

I was excited to receive your wishes, and I hope this process helps to create great variety on the dance floor while giving everyone a chance to feel included in shaping the weekend experience.

So…it’s time to start practicing!

See you on the dance floor,
Gerard
