Best -- And Only -- 75mm Ball Leveling Baby Legs / High Hat
By Daniel A. Koblosh
This mini tripod is really a full-sized 75 mm ball leveling tripod with all the features of a full-sized tripod...but short.
The Induro topcasting is the same as their professional tripod. Aluminum leg tubes are 1.28 inches in diameter -- very heavy duty.
Length when collapsed to minimum (legs together for transport): 9-1/4" from top of topcasting/bowl to bottom of rubber foot.
Max height with legs fully extended and leg angle locks in tallest position (to top of casting): 10-1/4" (16-1/4" with a Manfrotto 504HD head on it). Minimum height to top of a 504HD with legs fully splayed: 8-1/4". See attached pictures.
Features abound: 1) the 75mm ball leveling capability; 2) triple position angle locks at the topcasting allow three different heights; 3) rubber feet sit flat on the floor regardless of leg angle; 4) the feet have holes to allow them to be screwed to a plywood base if desired; 5) each leg extends telescopically 2-3/8"; 6)
three accessory holes are provided in the sides of the topcasting -- they are 3/8-16 but have 1/4" reducers and 1/4-20 hex head bolts supplied. These three attach points allow for tying down the tripod/high hat if desired.
My personal favorite is its lack of need for a spreader. The legs open and it's ready to go. The well-designed rubber feet grip most surfaces very securely. The tripod does not slide around and panning and tilting is accomplished with confidence.
There is only one complaint: the knob assembly that tightens the head to the legs is purposely low profile so it clears the floor with at its lowest position. That assembly is made up of the knob, a 3/8" washer and the cup that pushes against the bottom of the 75mm bowl. Other heads come with those three parts attached to each other via a spring washer. This Induro design has the three parts separate: when you remove the knob, the washer and cup go flying, with a high probability of losing the
washer, especially if working in sand. Be warned.
Overall, this is truly a professional tripod worth the money if you need a rock steady ball leveling camera support.

Induro LFB75S DR Hi-Hat Tripod Set
By PhotogDog
Well Photogs,
Mine just arrived several days ago and I must say without a doubt, this is one outstanding table top tripod. The build and finish is the best I have seen in this and higher price points in the industry. A bit heavy but built and stable like a tank, you will not get lens, camera, mirror or wind shake with this baby... I mounted my standard Manfrotto #394 quick release base system to the pod and then mounted my Opteka model GH1 gimbal head to that, then added my Nikon D800 with the Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 VR lens. What a set-up this is. Solid as a rock, smooth as glass and a great combo for my work. With this pod, everything works together like they were designed to be partners for life. My next time out, I will be working with my 200mm macro and D700, I believe this setup will prove to be the best for a stable macro platform. Bottom line is, "I am extremely pleased with this Hi-Hat Tripod with 3 position, telescoping legs with great pod feet with mounting
screw holes for attaching to table, bench or sled, what ever, it's great and will last a lifetime. Carried by Amazon at a very good price too! "Great Job and product Induro, keep up the good work, you get my BZ on this one!" V/R KMW

Amazing small tripod
By Nicholas J. Natteau
One of the best tripods I've ever owned. I might even be getting another one. So useful in so many ways.
