hi everyone!
all of you over 16 would be qualified for these (some paid) positions, if your summer is not already locked up.
regards,

Notice of Summer Positions at NOAA SCIENCE CAMP 2011

There are multiple fun and challenging summer camp employment opportunities at NOAA Science Camp (NSC) this summer. The program is offered at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) facility located on Lake Washington.  As a camp employee, you will meet and work with NOAA scientists and staff, other area science educators as well as high school and undergraduate camp assistants. NSC is entering its ninth year of operation and NSC partner, Washington Sea Grant, is recruiting and hiring 7 Science Camp Educators and 5 Science Camp Assistants for the summer program.

Two five-day summer day-camp sessions are designed for seventh and eighth-graders to explore marine sciences and have fun at the same time. New this year, NOAA Science Camp will also offer a Junior Leadership program for ninth and tenth-graders. Visit the NOAA Science Camp Web page to learn more (and to register campers!)

This year's camp will be held on July 18-22 and July 25-29 and staff will attend a mandatory two day training on July 11-12th. Staff must be available for all dates, and provide their own housing and transportation. Job descriptions and application instructions can be found on the University of Washington "UWHires" site. Here is a link to "How to apply at the UW": http://www.washington.edu/admin/hr/jobs/apl/howtoapply.html.

Here are quick links to the two types of positions:

NOAA SCIENCE CAMP EDUCATORS - TEMPORARY, Requisition number 73204. Click the link below to view this job opportunity.

NOAA SCIENCE CAMP ASSISTANTS - TEMPORARY, Requisition number 73203. Click the link below to view this job opportunity.
