* Wacky Wednesdays start this week. The tournaments will start promptly at 7:00 p.m., so please be there on time. Entry fees will be $5 or $2 and a can of food to donate to the mission next door. The fencers must be competitive USA Fencing members to compete. Memberships can be upgraded from Noncompetitive to Competitive at the USA Fencing site: http://www.usfencing.org/page/show/698115-individuals. These tournaments provide a great way to get a rating and get some competition experience under your belt. Épée ought to be A rated, foil ought to be B rated, and saber ought to be C rated unless we can find another saber B.

Uniform orders will take 6 - 8 weeks. So get them in quick! Kit will be at LFC the next 2 Wed. nights and Saturdays. Orders will be sent in February 25th so try them on and get them paid for. Credit Cards Accepted!!!

Yay! to all of the volunteers who helped with organizing, setting up, manning, and tearing down the Icicle tournament. It was a phenomenal success.  And thank you to the coaches and Jenn, Barry, and Retha, tournament organizers, along with Mike, Mel, and Kevin, for their help in armory.  Also, thanks to Retha for hosting an after-tournament party at her home Saturday night.

 

Yay! to Kit for bringing Blue Gauntlet equipment sales to the tournament. It raised the caliber of the tournament to a whole new level!
