REGISTER NOW!  http://www.lincolnfencing.com/classes Weekday classes (beginner, advanced beginner, HS, adult) begin next week! Saturday beginner classes begin September 22. The Saturday advanced class is no longer being offered. All class participants, including returning fencers, need to register for the initial session. If you are not sure WHAT class your child or you belong in - contact Kristian at kris...@lincolnfencing.com and he will point you in the right direction.  Sign up and reserve your spot TODAY!

PARENTS: We will be having a brief parents' meeting at the beginning of the first class of the season. Please plan to attend!

USA Fencing membership changes (AFFECTS ALL FENCERS!): Do to a change in USFA’s insurance policy, every fencer now has to be a member of USFA for our club to be insured. A noncompetitive membership is available for only $5 for the year; the competitive rate is $65 for the year (they have eliminated the family discount and the 1-time tournament option). Please take a minute and fill out your USFA membership registration information online now.  We will be checking every fencer’s USFA status before they are able to fence.

Please Note the Change in Class Payment Structure: Class prices have not changed from last session, but all class payments will now be handled by 8-class-week sessions instead of monthly. This change will allow us to account for sessions that run longer than 8-calendar-weeks due to time off for tournaments and holidays. The adult and high school classes are $50 for an 8-week-session; the youth Saturday-only class is $100 per session; and the youth Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday are $140 per session. Don't forget the family discount: 1st fencer is full price, 2nd, 3rd, etc. will be half price. The cost for any individual receiving private lessons will remain $90 a month, which includes the cost of attending classes. Don't forget that Paypal payments are accepted through the LFC website. If you have any payment questions, please contact our office manager, Kris Johnson at kris...@earthlink.net

A special thank you to Kit Boesch & Kristian Anderson for teaching wheelchair fencing to dozens of kids at the Junior Wheelchair Sports & Recreation Camp in Council Bluffs.
