Howdy,

I snapped a shot of the clock signal on my LiNC80 SBC.  I'm aware that this system uses a different type of source for its clock, being an oscillator rather than a crystal as is on the RC2014.

Does anyone think that this is a measurement artifact somehow?  I'm still learning, and would appreciate any ideas.  So far, the system seems stable and unconcerned with the clock signal this way.  I would be happy to repeat the test if anyone would like me to try something.  Cheers!

I snapped a better shot of the clock signal - this time with better settings on the scope and the addition of a terminating resistor:

Much better.  I was sure that most of the bad signal was an artifact of the scope and how it was being measured.  I'll play around some more to see if I can get rid of the last bit of it, but it looks worlds better now :)   Cheers!

PS:  Ignore the Voltage measurement on the 2nd trace, it's not right due to the extra resistance on the line, it's correctly at around 5V max.

Ah, I see you answered yourself. The signal in your previous shot looked much like added reflections from a probe to me :)
