Parallel computation of a binary matrix rank

Dear all,

Using LinBox, I could find the parallel computation of a determinant of sparse matrix over Z or ZP in the file examples/mpidet.C. Is it also possible to somehow compute the rank of the matrix over the GF2 field? It does not really matter which matrix format is used.
