LIMUSA in Solidarity with SATAWU members at Denel

 

The Liberated Metalworkers Union of South Africa fully supports the strike action by SATAWU members at Denel Aeronautics.

This action comes after SATAWU has reached a deadlock in wage negotiations at Denel Aeronautics. LIMUSA was recently confronted by the same arrogance of Denel at Denel Land Systems. It has now become common practice at Denel generally to impose and intensify wage slavery on workers regardless of the current economic conditions.

We will be joining SATAWU members in the battlefield as they confront the arrogant employer. We want to warn Denel to take the plight of workers seriously. Our members in other divisions of Denel will express their solidarity with SATAWU members and will also down tools if needs it be.
