LIMUSA TO MARCH AGAINST FRIGOGLASS
Liberated Metalworkers Union of South Africa (LIMUSA) in Gauteng is set to march against Frigoglass on Friday 23rd October 2020. This after this company management in particular the delinquent Mr Haynes embarked on the union bashing to avoid accountability which resulted to a suspension of three (3) Shopstewards including our President cde Peter Mothloki.
We remain concern ongoing intimidation of our interim shopstewards and members by the company and the failure to account on the TERS related queries by our members. Our members are Currently working under the bad conditions of employment were Mr Haynes using the CCTV Cameras to monitor the employees.
We shall also use this march to highlight various non-compliance regarding Employment Equity and BBBEE, this happens while this company supplier’s big companies like Coca-Cola and SAB. We shall also highlight failure of the MEIBC Bargaining Council to protect the interests of the workers.
Further to our action will shall be take this matters to company headquarters in Greece
In line with Covid-19 regulation we shall ensure participates wear masks and keep social distance and see below details of the march.
