The Institute for Laboratory Automation [
http://www.InstituteLabAuto.org
- a 501(c)3 non-profit organization] is in the process of organizing
it's programs. I'd like your input in the following program:
We are working on a one-week educational program with the possibility
of multiple tracks to be offered in 2010. The program would be
directed to laboratory management and individual scientist and
technical staff. Tracks would include:
- Manager's Guide to Laboratory Automation and Technology Planning
- Managing LIMS & ELN programs - including project definition &
management, technology evaluation and use, product selection &
implementation.
Our choice of a 2010 time-frame is need to organize the program, and
give the economy a chance to recover so that people and companies can
afford the expenditure.
The questions we are asking are:
- is an educational program like this of interest?
- what would you like to see included (the items above are broad
descriptions)?
- the one week time-frame is an initial estimate, there potentially a
lot of material to cover, what time-frame would be workable?
We would also be open to any other comments or suggestions. If you
prefer to comment privately, I can be contacted at
