I have found that emailing your customers twice a month is acceptable
if they contain the following:

1. INCENTIVE and a CALL TO ACTION (Make it a button that takes them to
a special offer page on your Website that one else gets access to!)

2. Great pictures of relevant information (but not overwhelmingly big)

3. Diversity - Do not email them the same thing twice a month!!! They
opt out!

4. Good Ideas for them to use your services for: Showcase a special
restaurant, feature a local point of interest or even combine a show
and limousine transportation service into a special package

5. Give them several links to visit your main Website or blog.

6. Invite them to follow you/your company on social networking sites
like Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and others. (Use color logos and
buttons for this!)

7. When they click a link off your email - DON'T just send them to
your HOME PAGE! Send them to a Web page that showcase relevant info
from the paragraph/article from which they left!!

8. Give them something they want to know or see - Don't always be
selling. Often you can generate more business by informing or
educating your clients rather than shoving a coupon or commercial down
their throats.

9. Consider adding a online video player (image only) in your email
and LINK it to an Flash or You Tube streaming video! People love to
watch over reading a lot of text! Like this....

10. Finally... Ask your customers for creative ideas or suggestions on
what they might find interesting. You might be surprised once in
awhile!

There you have it! Get inspired. Get creative. Get going.
