Im sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with playing Battlefield 1 online multiplayer on your computer. Connectivity issues in multiplayer games can be frustrating, but there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem. Here are some common solutions you can try:

Check Your Internet Connection: Ensure that you have a stable and reliable internet connection. You can try restarting your modem/router or running a speed test to check for any connectivity problems.

Check Battlefield 1 Servers: Verify if the game servers are up and running. Sometimes, server maintenance or outages can cause online connectivity issues. You can check the official Battlefield 1 social media channels or community forums for any server status updates.

Port Forwarding: If you're playing on PC, you might need to forward certain ports on your router to allow the game to communicate with the servers. Check Battlefield 1's official website or community forums for the necessary port forwarding information. Popeyes Survey

Remember to document any changes you make during the troubleshooting process so that you can revert them if needed. Additionally, be patient and persistent in your efforts to resolve the issue. Sometimes, online connectivity problems are temporary and can be resolved with time.

Hi why is it that i can not play the bf2042 game with out membership, i was going to play offline with the bots today to see if you have made the game any better then last time i went on it. do not have any online membership as it it pointless for me at the moment as working strange hours and dont get the time to play games much anymore. so very disappointed that could not have 30mins bot killing today. and i have played it before offline with bots

@ElliotLHWhy cant bf not do it for people that love the game but can not keep buying member ships to play it. It a extra cost. It would not take very long to code it and it might help with people that play offline as it dose not have a campaign

@toffee012 It's just the way they decided to do things for this game with everything requiring connecting to a server to play.

While I do honestly feel for you that you can't play the game offline, the choices are basically either getting a subscription or trying to obtain a refund from where you bought it.

How Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo advertise online multiplayer as something that their subscription services provides is laughable. Even with all of the so called "free games" that some of these subscriptions provide to players. These corporations know without a doubt that online multiplayer and our addiction to the online games that we love is the most valuable thing locked behind the paywall for these subscriptions. They block their console users from online because apparently they can, and then charge these same users to lift the barrier that they put there. When it is your purchased EA game that is on the console, your internet provider, and EA's servers that are delivering the Battlefield experience.

You can't play Battlefield 2042 on Xbox without a Live subscription because even though the truth is out there. The majority of people using the platform don't mind paying for the subscription. So you have to as well as subscription services to access online multiplayer for most games on consoles has become the standard for over the last 20 years.

When I try to play Battlefield 1 for Xbox One, I keep getting issues connecting to EA Online. I cannot connect to online features to go to multiplayer. I restarted my modem, signed in/out, checked Network Connectivity on my Xbox One only to tell me that I am connected to the Internet and that there is nothing wrong with my Multiplayer connection.

This started happening about 2 days ago after I played Multiplayer, when I returned to go back on multiplayer I got the message that I couldn't connect to EA Online. Checked the next day, and the same problem came up again, then I tried to reset everything to make it work but with no luck. I also checked my EA account to see if there was a problem, but I found nothing wrong.

Huge multiplayer battles. Swarm the battlefield in massive multiplayer battles with up to 64 players. Charge in on foot as infantry, lead a cavalry assault, and battle in fights so intense and complex you'll need the help of all your teammates to make it through.

Game-changing vehicles. Turn the tide of battle in your favor with vehicles both large and larger, from tanks and biplanes to gigantic Behemoths, unique and massive vehicles that will be critical in times of crisis. Rain fire from the sky in a gargantuan Airship, tear through the world in the Armored Train, or bombard the land from the sea in the Dreadnought.

A new Operations multiplayer mode. In Operations mode, execute expert maneuvers in a series of inter-connected multiplayer battles spread across multiple maps. Attackers must break through the defense line and push the conflict onto the next map, and defenders must try to stop them.

If your child is under 18, you can set parental controls on a platform level which will be followed in our games. For example, if you turn off communication with other players in your platform parental controls, that will also turn off communications with other players in the EA game.

You can adjust platform parental controls so your child can only use their teen account to play the single-player, offline modes of an EA game. To learn more about platform parental controls for child and teen accounts, see below.

If your child can't access the online features of an EA game even though the platform-level parental settings allow them to play online, it may be because the game content is Mature (M). Double-check the age rating on the EA app, or on the cover of the game box.

Since December 20th, I have experienced the most unusual connection issue. Every couple of days (sometimes 2-3 days in a row), my Internet connection drops entirely while trying to play Battlefield 4. It started happening after midnight up until roughly 6 AM and was fine after that but the problem soon began to occur at all hours of the day.

A brief summary of what happens when the issue arises: Sudden noticeable and then heavy lag causes me to be disconnected from the game server (including EA's online service) and Xbox LIVE, at which point the Internet for my home drops altogether (total connection loss for all devices in the home). I have to wait 1/2 minutes for it to recover and reconnect. This issue relates to Battlefield 4 only - and I'm sure of this as I can play any other game (including Battlefield 3) online without any problems after my Internet disconnects due to Battlefield 4. So again, the issue arises with this game and this game only.

I thought it was isolated to the Xbox 360 but the same happens when I'm trying to play on PC. On top of that, a friend of mine purchased an Xbox One and the same is happening to him on that platform (he also gets booted offline on Xbox 360). The thing is, he resides in the United States whereas I do not, so this is obviously not just a Virgin Media-related issue. A group of my friends in the US (different ISPs to each other) suffer from this issue along with me.

We contacted Microsoft but they told us to talk to the publisher (EA), who had me run a bunch of tests and open ports, etc which did not help (if port forwarding was the issue, we wouldn't be able to play at all). I even went as far as getting in touch with the game developer (DICE, owned by EA) and the "go to" guy for such problems at the company said he had no idea what was causing this and therefore could not help. We have no where left to turn and so I hope somebody here can help.

I'm sure I'm missing one or two more things I've tried here but rest assured, I've exhausted everything that I could think of. As stated previously, this happens to my friends in the USA, too. If we're playing together when the issue occurs, we all get kicked off one after the other. I know it is not strictly related to my ISP, but if anyone has any idea why this is happening or at least has something else for me to try, please let me know.

As of the past 2 weeks or so, I'm no longer getting kicked offline when trying to play on PC but the issue persists on Xbox 360. To add to this, a friend of mine moved house and got a new ISP but still suffers. My plan is to install a 2nd network card into my PC and connect my console to it, then bridge that connection to my PC's primary network adapter and try to play that way and hope to get kicked while Wireshark is capturing on the console's network adapter in order to see what happens before/during/after the disconnect. However, I'm thinking that seeing as I can play fine on PC now, playing on console through my PC's NIC may allow me to stay online without problems. This connection method (dual NICs) is not ideal for my friends, however.

based on your description I conclude: a bug in the EA game server or their networking equipment (router, firewall, load balancer, etc.). As they have no idea how their system works what causes the problem (see your comments), you have no way to fix it yourself. Switching ISP and network cards won't help. Unless a lot more people are affected by the problem, EA won't do anything due to a bad cost/efficiency ratio. So your best option for now: Play a different game.

dont know if this will help cause mine started this mess last night. I had to erase all my multiplayer updates except the newest one bout week ago, My camo wasnt workin and color all jacked all startin after getting second assault. I may try this again but only should have to delete one update but do not know if will work this time because my camo works and screen fine but it is disconnectin me as well but just affectin my 360 not my pc.

Kurt: I connected my Xbox console to a 2nd network card and then bridged the connection with my PC's primary adapter and ran Wireshark on the Xbox's adapter. If I post the Wireshark log of where my router appears to reset itself during Battlefield 4, do you think you could take a look at it and possibly spot the exact cause? Thanks in advance.
