Is possible to open the master alarm database records (Alarm database Causes/Actions) from a Foxview button

Hi All,

when an alarm happens in the plant, we've a button on the overlay to run a Perl script which will search in a tab delimited text file for the alarm record and will retrieve the following data in a new overlay:

- the alarm casues

-the alarm Consequences

-the alarm Corrective action.

now, using the Master database alarm, i'm able to populate these data from the text file to the master alarm database (excel import tool).

can we do the same function that Perl does but with the System Auditor??

I've updated the master alarm database for one block and would like to connect it to the Foxview overlay to be opened when this alarm is triggered (when the operator presses the alarm category button).
