As part of the Limerick Lifelong Learning Festival, miLKlabs are
having an Open Evening tonight from 7 to 9pm in their space in UL.
Come and meet the members of the Limerick hackerspace, explore their
projects and ideas, talk about 3D printing and the technologies of the
future.
The new miLKlabs 3D printer is being assembled at the moment - you
can watch it coming to being as we speak!
This Open Evening is suitable for people interested in electronics,
programming, robotics as well as in DIY, urban gardening, crafts,
recycling and upcycling.
More information and directions to the place are available in this
post on the miLKlabs website (
http://www.milklabs.ie/files/?p=202).
On Saturday, there will be an Arduino workshop starting 10:30am in
CS305a organised by the Interaction Design Centre in collaboration
with miLKlabs.
The workshop is free of charge, but registration is required.
There are 10 more places available, but they are filling fast. If you
are interested, sign up for it on Facebook or email me.
Everybody's welcome!
