Applying New CSS style

Is it possible to define extra CSS for label object . i want to apply letter-spacing property of css to text in label . there is no method provided for that can i do it ? if yes then how?

It's been a few years since I've used the framework, but you should be able to inherit from label or node and write your custom render functions for the types of rendering you are using. I would just look at how label is written and do something similar.
