Hi,

I've seen a couple mentions/requests for this feature before and I
wanted to find out what developers' attitudes are on it. I'm a new
LimeChat user and so far it rocks. I've used irssi for years, and
LimeChat does the vast majority of what I did with irssi. What it
doesn't do, for the most part, is a compromise I can accept thanks to
its beautiful interface. One exception, though, is ignore.

In busy channels, i like to ignore join, part, quit and nick messages.
In irssi the command for this was /ignore JOINS PARTS QUITS NICKS
#busychannel. Of course there is the more simple /ignore
annoyinguser.

What do the developers think of this feature? Is it worthwhile to be
added? Thanks for any information/feedback.

Cheers,
Alex

I was just thinking about a per channel ignore join and part messages.
Ignore is the one needed feature limechat lacks.

It looks like this option has been applied to the dialogue box. However. When I try to ignore a string of nicknames for example; if there a a number of nicks that are like the following XO-001 up to 100 or more when i try to do ignore XO-*!* it dose not seem to work. Help?

Maybe I am doing something wrong?
