Hi there,

very nice software, just played around with the demo and pretty cool.

One question before I´l start installing it for my own tests:

If I click on the "Download Links" button on video files, I can select to download all converted resolutions of the original file. But if I select one of them and "Save as", it does not reflect the file name nor the file extension, instead it just wants to save a file "X" without file extension.
Only if you select to download the original file you´l get the exact file name.

I think it would make sense to get the name of the original file and for example with adding "_360p.webm" or "_720p.webm" or something like that.

Thanks for your help,

Cheers

Jens

Hi Jens,

We initially created these links to open video streams in external players like vlc where filenames doesn't really matter, so we thought it'd be nice to keep links short and clean.
But you're completely right: It's not very consistent and uncomfortable for downloads so we'll change that with the next release ;)

Thanks for that note and have fun with LimboMedia!

Thomas
