As you might know, we are looking a new home, since we have now moved out of the current space in Navarinou street. More important is the fact that we need to grow the community bigger and stronger for a proper 'reboot' of the hackerspace.

Did you know you always had a maker inside you? That you can make your own arcade cabinet? How about a desk light made out of upcycled wood pallets, your own furniture or even transform a door into an interactive Tetris game? These are just examples of awesome stuff that people have built at Limassol Hackerspace!

A hackerspace is an open community where people bring their creative ideas to life through learning, sharing and collaborating. Limassol Hackerspace is the first fully operational hackerspace in Cyprus: a non-profit, community operated workshop that encourages people to unbox their creativity 24/7, all year round (yes, 24/7).

At this crucial point in its 4-year history, the hackerspace is looking for a new home.

Our next community meetup is part of our effort to grow the community bigger and stronger than ever before, so that everyone in Cyprus knows about us! Join us next Thursday at the CUTing edge, where you can meet and join the community. Furthermore:

• People from the community will talk about the thrill of being creative, the hackerspace movement and how it spread all over the world
• We will present what the Limassol Hackerspace community has achieved over the years
