Hi Hackers!

I am Ludovic and I most probably know some of you. you must probably know me as well :)
i am french and living for 6 years now in Limassol.  i was looking for a fab lab in Limassol and i find your community.

i Like DIY and have done few things. also I am often limited and discourage when I am alone doing things.

that why I thought it will be great to enter your circle of crazy  makers.

more generally I really believe in community, and for many reason I believe that there is a future for people that will have the courage to start new things.
I also assume that you might have difficulties to set your hacker-space due to the funds it needs and the lack of attendees when is time to put money on the table.

well I can contribute personally by giving money but also I have knowledge in building business plan, European funding frames, crowed-funding, marketing, communication ..... DIY tools ...

So, if you are motivate and you are looking to expend your movement i will be glad to meet one day.

cheers,

Hi there Ludovic!

I'm so glad that you found us - welcome to the community!

You can see the progress of the project mostly on the social media. We also have a main website, and wiki (but I presume you already know that :) ) although they are a bit outdated.

Yes, currently we are in great need of volunteers to keep everything going! This can be organizing events, being a webmaster for one or more of the hackerspace's pages, giving a workshop (e.g. on Arduino, 3D modelling), etc. It doesn't have to be something huge - every little bit helps!

We should also have another AFK meeting early next month to discuss the progress of the project. Also, we intend to get some regular social event going on, perhaps on a weekly basis. You can of course contact any of us here or get in touch on the hackerspace's phone number (95-519597 - I am the one answering this, usually)

Finally, you could also introduce yourself in the dedicated thread below, so that the rest of the guys can get to know you also (some people might have chosen not to receive notifications for new posts in the forum). You can also tell us a bit more about yourself and what projects you have worked on lately!

See you around!
