House break-in attempt

There was an attempt to enter my house by suspected robbers at no19, 9/24 on wed afternoon about 3:30pm. 

My son was alone at home when he heard the house bell rings. When he came out to check, 2 indian guys on motorbike, one wearing helmet and the other one wearing cap, told my son that there is an electrical fault in my house and ask him to open the gate. He did not open the gate and told them that there is nothing wrong withe the electrical. They insist my son to open the gate. My son called me asking me whether i have called an electrical contractor which i did not and told him not to open. They left after he saw my son make some calls. Police report have been made as well to our security.

Warning to all residents to be aware of such people who came at our house. These robbers may bell our house just to check whether there is anybody at home. If there someone at home they will make excuses to enter the house. If there is nobody at home they might try to break in. So be aware and turn on your alarm even in daytime or you leave your for a short while.

Hope that gated security can be realize to prevent such incident.
