Lily 2.4 with CDH 4.8.1 and Solr 4.0 Indexing doesn't work

Hi Guys,

We are trying to upgrade our infrastructure. Lily 2.4 standalone works ok. However, any records created via the lilyclient JAVA API do not get indexed.

A Batch build does succeed in indexing these records. I was wondering if someone else has run into a similar issue.

LilyClient / Server do not report any errors.

Update:

I have tried the following configurations:

1. Standalone lily - works

2. Standalone lily with Solr Cloud Mode - works

3. Standalone lily (only hadoop and lily ) + separate solr cluster ( this works only if the solr schema is deployed in a /solr subfolder on zookeeper. If I try to deploy solr schema under root then this doesn't work. This used to work in lily 2.0 ..maybe a bug? )

4. Full CDH  + lily ..event based indexing still doesn't work.
