Lily 1.2.1 and Solr Compatability

Hello,

I am stuck using Lily 1.2.1 (due to software stack) which is configured to use Solr 3.6. 

I'd like to use some of the features in Solr 4.x though I am not sure of compatibility with my version of Lily.  Does anyone know of compatibility between these products/versions?

As far as I know Lily is closely tied to the Solr Version. I doubt that Lily 1.2.1 will work with Solr 4.x.

I am stuck on Hadoop 0.20.2-cdh3u4 which is why I was using Lily-1.2.1 / solr 3.6 for now.  Any Idea if Lily 2.0 or newer is compatible with my current version (cdh3u4)?
