How to install UBCD4Win on your Windows device:
I have been using UBCD 3.60(http:/ Opens a new window/www.ubcd4win.com) as my utility boot disk of choice for quite a long while now. It has worked great for me and i use it mainly for trouble shooting/recovery on non booting machines, and also Darik's Boot and Nuke to D.O.D. wipe hard drives of old 'retired' computers that we sell/donate after they have been replaced. When i come across a computer with a bad CD/DVD rom i just use the included tool to create a bootable USB drive that boots up UBCD4win. Works great, however, each time i use it for Darik's boot and Nuke, it automatically finds and wipes all mass storage drives. This includes my USB flash drive with the UBCD files.
UBCD4Win 3.60 that could have been downloaded from our website for free. The software lies within System Utilities, more precisely HDD Management. The most popular version of the UBCD4Win is 3.6. The latest version of the program is supported on PCs running Windows XP/XP Professional/Vista/7/8/10/11, 32-bit.
I run both v3.50 and v3.60 installs and no executable is ever found. WinXP SP3 - altough a bit optimized, so, okay, I run it on default install of same OS and report back. "Dynamical" creating of executable? Sounds crazy to me But... whatever if it will work.
